Expanding on Recess; the dreamy seltzer brand that is calm, cool, and collected.
Recess is a hemp and adaptogen-infused sparkling water beverage targeted to busy professionals who are overwhelmed, over-stimulated and over-caffeinated. For some of us, the last time we remember being carefree was on the playground during Recess; where our imagination has no bounds. As a brand, Recess aims to recapture this carefree feeling and explore how we’d like to feel after taking an “adult recess”— cool, calm, and collected.
In 2019 I spent some time freelancing with the brand team at Recess. With the brand rapidly growing at the time, I stepped in to help conceptualize and execute on various brand projects. I created a series of digital campaigns and also had the opportunity to expand their brand to various environmental and point-of-sale touchpoints. Each project unfolded through a dreamy and inspiring lens.
